Privacy policy

In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
We ask only for the data we need to prepare your report, charge for it, invoice it and send it to you. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
Data controller
Stack Studio, S.L., tax ID (NIF) B67344077, with address at Carrer de Còrsega, 236, local interior, 08036 Barcelona. For any privacy matter: hola@asoleo.es.
What data we process and why
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and the flat you choose (address, floor, door and windows) | Preparing the report, sending it to you and dealing with your questions or complaints | Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, the EU General Data Protection Regulation) |
| Amount and payment method | Taking payment and issuing the invoice | Contract and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)) |
| If you ask for an invoice with your tax ID (checkbox when buying): name or company name, tax ID (NIF or CIF) and billing address, which you enter on our site before you pay | Issuing the full invoice in your name or your company's | Contract and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)) |
| Your rating of the report (stars and comment) and the time you see the sun, if you send it to us | Improving the calculation and the report | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Your rating, if you tick “You may publish my review on the website” | Publishing it on the website without your full name | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time |
| Your email address, as a customer | Sending you a single email a few days after the report to ask for your rating and remind you of your code to give away. Every email has an unsubscribe link | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) and Art. 21.2 of the Spanish LSSI (customers, similar services) |
| Your email and the address you typed, if you ask us to let you know because you can't find your flat | Checking the search and writing to you when we can measure it; not stored by Asoleo, it reaches us by email | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Your location, only if you tap «I'm at the flat» and allow it in your browser | Opening the aerial photo where you are so you can point out your building. We don't store it; the aerial photo of that area is requested from the ICGC or the IGN | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| IP address, only in memory and for a few minutes | Limiting abuse of the website (too many requests in a row) | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
Your card or Bizum details are received by Stripe, never by Asoleo. To measure how many people visit the website we use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and gives aggregate figures, and we count each step of the purchase per day, without knowing who anyone is.
The report uses public data on the building and its surroundings (the Cadastre (Catastro), elevation models, noise or flood maps). We do not obtain data about other people.
The sun on your street, by email
This is the form on the street pages of Sol por barrios.
- What data: your email and the street and side of the street you choose.
- Why: to send you the result (the winter sun on that side of the street, floor by floor, and the street noise) and, only if you tick the box and confirm the subscription with the link in the email, a reminder for the viewing.
- Legal basis: your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) for the result, and your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR and art. 21 of the LSSI) for the reminder, which you can withdraw at any time.
- How long: 12 months from your request or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe, we keep only a hashed fingerprint of your email address so we never write to you again.
- How to unsubscribe: with the link in every reminder email, or by writing to hola@asoleo.es.
Notify me (when we find your home)
This is the notice you can leave during checkout if we can't find your home or you live where we don't cover yet.
- What data: your email, the municipality and what you typed in the search box.
- Why: to let you know when we find your home or reach your city.
- Legal basis: your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- How long: 12 months from your request or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
- How to delete it: by writing to hola@asoleo.es.
How long we keep it
- The report link works for 12 months. The order and the report are kept for as long as you can make a claim and, after that, blocked.
- Invoices and payment data, for as long as the law requires: six years (Código de Comercio, the Spanish Commercial Code, Art. 30) and the tax limitation periods.
- Feedback on the report, for as long as it helps to improve the calculation; without your email address when it is used for analysis.
- If you unsubscribe from follow-up emails, we keep only a hashed fingerprint of your email address (not the address) so we never write to you again, even if you ask us to delete your data.
Who we share it with
Only with those who provide us with a service necessary for Asoleo, under a data processor agreement:
| Provider | Purpose | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. | Payments | Ireland (EU); may transfer data to the US with GDPR safeguards |
| Resend | Sending emails | European Union (Ireland) |
| Holded Technologies, S.L. | Invoicing | Spain |
| Hostinger International Ltd. (virtual private server) | Server where the report is calculated and stored | France (Paris), European Union |
| Vercel Inc. | Website hosting | US, with standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework |
Invoices are reported to the Agencia Tributaria (the Spanish Tax Agency) when required by law (VERI*FACTU).
